Ideas: Races
The Idea
As this roleplay will be utilizing multiple, vast realms, there will be a need for fresh ideas when it comes to the various denizens of those realms. Due to this, members of the roleplay site are free to suggest ideas for new races that may or may not be used for character creation.What to Consider
There will be a lot involved in race creation. Here are some questions to consider: - Will it be a character type? Is this race exclusive (a limited number due to fertility / extinct / endangered status)?
- What realm will they originate from? Will they have migrated to another realm?
- What strengths and weaknesses might they have?
- How might they compare to the other denizens in their realm? Think of the magic or lack, physical attributes, etcetera. Have an idea of what they look and act like.
- Do they have alliances, allegiances, loyalties, or other?
- Do they have hostilities?
Rules
Here are some directions for posting your race suggestion:- Copy and fill out the form – Beneath this set of rules, a form will be provided for you to copy and modify accordingly. Any information about your race should be addressed in this form. When it's all filled out, go to the reply button beneath this post and submit the filled out form. Everyone will be able to view it.
- Alert a moderator or administrator – Once the filled form is submitted, go to the site discord and let a moderator or administrator know that there is an idea here to look at. If you wish to add a preview of the idea, there are discord channels for that. You can also get opinions from other members of the site, if you'd like.
- After some reviewing, apply any changes – The administrator or moderator(s) who review the idea might suggest some changes or ask for additional information to be added. The idea is to make sure the idea will fit with the roleplay. If changes are necessary, simply copy your post and re-post it with the changed information. The administrator and/or moderator will delete the previous post for you. In the instance no changes are needed, then the new post is unnecessary.
- The finishing stages - Once your idea is confirmed, accepted, etcetera, then the administrator / moderator will start the process of adding it to forum information. They may ask if you have images you want to include to the page. When everything is hashed out and applied to the forum, then the race will be available for viewing.

Have your desired race thought out beforehand! Make sure you did your research! Here is the form to fill out, following the steps above: Race Name:
Pictures: Try to find pictures that best represent your desired race.
General Knowledge: This is a very vague, short summary of the race.
Attributes: What makes this race stand out, other than their abilities? Do they share similar / different characteristics? Is there a shared stance, instinct, etcetera? You can use current races as an idea of what to include.
Inherent Abilities: What is this race capable of doing that others can't do?
Weaknesses: In this roleplay, no race is invincible, regardless of how overpowered some may seem. What can subdue this race?
Strengths: This is merely a summary of everything they're good at.
Pictures: Try to find pictures that best represent your desired race.
