Magi
General Knowledge
A mostly neutral race, the magi are secretive, nomadic beings of magic. They are rumors and legend, beings thought to have existed way before the fae, though few know of their confirmed existence. Attributes
Spiritual in their true form, they can take the physical form of anyone or anything that has or has not been yet imagined. No one magi may look the same, though no magi will take on the appearance of someone who is considered a higher power. It's too much responsibility pretending to be a ruler - it's much better to be an unknown peddler.A neutral, nomadic race, the magi have no specified leader, though they follow one single rule: no interfering. While they may trade away their wares and can pass through lands uninhibited, they are not allowed to interfere on behalf other the other races, interfering can lead to more problems than the one they try to solve. Thus, any magi that interferes, all the other magi will work to either subdue them or eliminate them, temporarily making them hostile to that single magi.
Though they may like dealing, just as much as the fay, they are always fair in their exchange when trading away, creating, or repossessing trinkets and artifacts of magic. They do not seek loopholes.
Note: Some exceptional members of this race have escaped the consequences of interfering, though they are still hunted to the present day.
Inherent Abilities
The magi have an unusual access to many different magics. While (mostly) neutral, some are seen as either sinister or divine. It merely depends on the perspective and how the magic is used. - Shapeshifting – Dependent on self-image; they are not limited to animal forms.

Weaknesses (Hunter-known)
The magi can be their own weakness. Since they are a nomadic race, they do not often come together and do not have rules other than ones they make for themselves or have inherited from their family. This prevents collaboration. Additionally, the magi determine how long they live. With their ability to tap magic, they are practically feeding with every movement and action, but they recycle the energy and give the excess back to the realm. If they choose to stop tapping into the realm's energy and decide to shut down altogether, they can end their existence. Anything or anyone capable of nullifying magic can incapacitate or even kill a magi, as they are beings made up entirely of magic. It merely depends on how strong the nullification is.
Strengths
They are quite capable of slipping away quietly, erasing their tracks, and surviving in general. It is one of the reasons why they are known as an elder race of sorts.
