The Idea
Trinkets are any nonliving item imbued with magic, whether it be a curse or a blessing. While some basic trinkets were created for the start of roleplay, roleplayers have the opportunity to create new ones that denizens might get ahold of, or relics may eventually discover.What to Consider
A trinket, compared to a character, will be simpler. - What is it? What does it look like?
- What magic is imbued within it? What does it do? (Note: Only relics have magical complexities, thus there is usually a small amount made, namely 1 to a few. Common trinkets or custom trinkets, however, can utilize 1-2 magics, dependable on the object's size and magical storage strength.)
- Is it common and can be found with an enchanter? Can it be currently made? Or is it a relic?
- Who / what can use it?
Rules
Here are some directions for posting your lore suggestion:- Copy and fill out the form – Beneath this set of rules, a form will be provided for you to copy and modify accordingly. Any information about your lore should be addressed in this form. When it's all filled out, go to the reply button beneath this post and submit the filled out form. Everyone will be able to view it.
- Alert a moderator or administrator – Once the filled form is submitted, go to the site discord and let a moderator or administrator know that there is an idea here to look at. If you wish to add a preview of the idea, there are discord channels for that. You can also get opinions from other members of the site, if you'd like.
- After some reviewing, apply any changes – The administrator or moderator(s) who review the idea might suggest some changes or ask for additional information to be added. The idea is to make sure the idea will fit with the roleplay. If changes are necessary, simply copy your post and re-post it with the changed information. The administrator and/or moderator will delete the previous post for you. In the instance no changes are needed, then the new post is unnecessary.
- The finishing stages - Once your idea is confirmed, accepted, etcetera, then the administrator / moderator will start the process of adding it to forum information. They may ask if you have images you want to include to the page. When everything is hashed out and applied to the forum, then the lore will be available for viewing.
Trinket Idea Form
With the magi being a long-lived race, they have created trinkets, from the most common to what most consider to be artifacts or relics. Not all have been logged. Thus, you have the option of creating a magically imbued object that might be wielded or possessed by your character. Just use the spoiler below and follow the above instructions on how to publish the rough draft of your trinket. Trinket Type: Common, artifact, or relic

Sentient: Yes or No (A sentient trinket would automatically be considered an artifact or relic)
Creator's Signature: Is there a specific flourish or marking that the magi left for the trinket's identification?
Type: Ring, necklace, sword, etcetera
