The Idea
In the realm of Faerie, as well as other realms, there will be groups of people that work to a related or specific goal that is declared by their leader(s). These groups pop up occasionally, have existed for a while, or sometimes disband. For now, those that have existed or begun to exist need to be noted, thus any ideas for them are welcome. What to Consider
When coming up with an idea for a group, there are some thing that must be thought of. Here are some things to consider: - Who leads this group? Or is it led by some other method, such as a council or vote?
- How long has it existed? Is it new?
- What is the name of this group?
- What kind of members make up this group and what is their purpose? What is the group's purpose? Does this purpose align with trade, rebellion, war, research, or other category?
- Where is it located? Is it part of a court, in service of a court, etcetera?
- Does the group have an identifiable emblem, mark, brand, etcetera?
Rules
Here are some directions for posting your group suggestion:- Copy and fill out the form – Beneath this set of rules, a form will be provided for you to copy and modify accordingly. Any information about your group should be addressed in this form. When it's all filled out, go to the reply button beneath this post and submit the filled out form. Everyone will be able to view it.
- Alert a moderator or administrator – Once the filled form is submitted, go to the site discord and let a moderator or administrator know that there is an idea here to look at. If you wish to add a preview of the idea, there are discord channels for that. You can also get opinions from other members of the site, if you'd like.
- After some reviewing, apply any changes – The administrator or moderator(s) who review the idea might suggest some changes or ask for additional information to be added. The idea is to make sure the group will fit with the roleplay. If changes are necessary, simply copy your post and re-post it with the changed information. The administrator and/or moderator will delete the previous post for you. In the instance no changes are needed, then the new post is unnecessary.
- The finishing stages - Once your idea is confirmed, accepted, etcetera, then the administrator / moderator will start the process of adding it to forum information. They may ask if you have images you want to include to the page. When everything is hashed out and applied to the forum, then the lore will be available for viewing.
Group Idea Form
Here is a basic form to fill out regarding your group. Category: What category of group is this? Is it a be'tial clan of sorts? A guild? Maybe a rebellion has been created? Even assassins might be grouped up and called something else.
Emblem: If you have a picture that represents the group, it can be either through being stitched on their clothes somewhere, branded or tattooed on their skin, or engraved in metals. Basically, what image is associated with them? If you do not have a picture, feel free to describe it instead.
Group Name: What do you call your group?
Group Leader: Who leads this group?
Description: Who belongs to this group? How long has this group existed? What is their purpose? How do they go about achieving their purpose (by what means)?
